"curveball"?!?! "International War Criminal" more accurately

They call him "Curveball". Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi is an Iraqi exile who wanted desperately (almost as desperately as the international war criminal in chief, george w bush, and his poodle in chief, tony bliar) to rid Iraq of that friend of the west (until the late '80s), Saddam Hussein.

Al-Janabi, a chemical engineer, according to an article on the RT website, "fled Iraq in 1995 for Germany, where he claims that the German BND secret service approached him for information. Seeing his opportunity, he decided to manufacture a reason for the West to target Iraq."

And so he helped convince the two idiots in chief, bush and bliar, that Saddam has Weapons of Mass Destruction. And he did so so well that he caused those two fuck-wits, bush and bliar, to take the west to war against Iraq in 2003. They, of course, claim the war was against Saddam, not Iraq. But then you look at the numbers of Iraqis, at least 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians at that, you see that the war really was against Iraq.

Amongst other things, according to The Guardian's article, al-Janabi falsely claimed:

• He worked on a team that assembled germ-production units on trucks at Djerf al-Nadaf. near Baghdad.

• There were plans to build mobile biochemical factories at six sites across Iraq.

With the chutzpah of a champion conman, al-Janabi told The Guardian, "I and my sons are proud of that (the telling of lies) and we are proud that we were the reason to give Iraq the margin of democracy.”

So what to do with this lying scumbag?

The simple answer is The International Criminal Court (ICC).

"The International Criminal Court (ICC)," according to its own website, is "governed by the Rome Statute, is the first permanent, treaty based, international criminal court established to help end impunity for the perpetrators of the most serious crimes of concern to the international community."

To be more specific, in its FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), the ICC explains, "Based in the Hague, The Netherlands, the International Criminal Court is the first ever permanent international institution, with jurisdiction to prosecute individuals responsible for the most serious crimes of international concern: genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The Court shall exercise jurisdiction over the crime of aggression once a provision is adopted defining the crime and setting out the conditions under which the Court shall exercise jurisdiction with respect to it."

However, unfortunately, considering it hasn't and almost certainly won't prosecute the international war criminal in chief and his poodle in chief, it's almost a certainty al-Janabi won't be prosecuted either.

Oh well, plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose
